Brad Pitts rendition of the tale of a baby being born old and living life backwards is a charming, if not long, film.

It has the whimsy that holds you throughout and is filled with highs/lows and happiness and sadness in much teh same way as Forrest Gump.

We see the 7 year old old 'old man' in a wheelchair cycle through to a a robust young man in his 60s..

Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton are solid as girlfriends of Benjamin.

Along the way he lives a exciting if not odd life.

Its a very cool flick, probably could have been 20 minutes shorter, but oh well..

This is the whimsical film of season and well worth it.

I saw Forrest GUmp the first time and liked it very much. Didn't see BB, though I wouldn't be opposed.

Oh OK... watch it... its good... and its based on a story from the 20's written by F Scott Fitzgerald... the whole forest gump thing is silly...

To be fair, Button has had many Gump compariosns to its tone and plot derivatives..Much of this could be traced to Eric Roth, the scribe of Gump and the scribe who adapted F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novella “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” that you see on film.
