Who do we go after? No one?

The A List (from SI.com)

Bill Cowher -- If, as expected, he chooses to peel off his TV persona and end his two-year hiatus from the sideline, the former Steelers coach will essentially have his pick of the openings. Cleveland would roll out the red carpet for him, and Detroit could be an intriguing possibility as well.

• Steve Spagnuolo -- The Giants defensive coordinator will be in high demand for a second-consecutive offseason, especially if New York rides the wave all the way to another Super Bowl appearance. St. Louis is one team known to be in the market for a defensive-oriented head coach.

• Jim Schwartz -- After strong interviews last offseason in Washington, Miami and Atlanta, Schwartz is nearly assured of parlaying the success of Tennessee's defense into a No. 1 job this time around. He's smart, articulate, extremely well prepared, and his coaching pedigree includes having worked for both Bill Belichick and Jeff Fisher.

• Josh McDaniels -- The Patriots 32-year-old offensive coordinator has only enhanced his r

when I read that list my eyes kept comin back to him also..

seems like a asskicker...

I like the name also, but it begs the Manning/Dungy question.

Is Dungy a great coach, or do the Colts have a great QB? Think about their defense, Dungy's specialty......

Obviously, you replace Ray Lewis w/ Peyton Manning.

Rex Ryan - I'd love to see what he can do and he'd be perfect for the 3-4 defense.

He's perfect with Ray Lewis at MLB, Ed Reed at Safety, etc.

He may be perfect with other personnel too, but do we want to take the chance?

Not me. Give me someone who I can have some confidence in.

I'd love to have Holmgren. I think Favre would be energized, come back, and play like the 2007 Favre if that was the case. However, that's not happening.

If I can't have Cowher, it's tough who else I'd want to have to be honest. I'd prefer an offensive coach if we change coaches.
