Irish Jet
When he helps a team go from 1 win to a 10-11 win season he deserves the praise. Chad's a decent QB and is a large part of why the Dolphins are competive this season.

He doesn't turn the ball over which IMO is a large part of their success. He doesn't put his defense in bad situations.

He doesn't put his defense in bad situations. Sure. That's Chad's game, playing not to lose. People think cause I'm glad he's gone that it means I think he's a bad QB. He's not a bad QB, but he's not reliable enough to have as your franchise QB nor is he capable of making plays when he has to pass. If he was here, with our awful defense and ghey coaches, he wouldn't be the talk of the league... Most likely, Miami will extend him and he'll get hurt or they'll suck against better competition next year and everyone will forget by then that we made the right move all along. I don't have a single regret about him being gone anybody does is shortsighted and simplistic imo..

I didn't see the point in giving up a 3rd round pick and paying a higher salary for a QB who like Chad is limited in how far he can get you. Like you said there's a chance that the trade will work out badly for Miami but IMO the trade has already worked out badly for us.
SoFlaJets
Dolphins: 1-5 when their opponent scores over 20 Chad is a part of the turnaround, no question, but the Coaching staff and schedule makers deserve the praise and one more factor I haven't heard one person mention-THE WEATHER and not just the south Florida weather or game day weather (which has favored Miami ALL year-including this afternoon). Sore joints like a shoulder can feel a LOT better in this climate than they do in New Jersey-I know from the experience of living in both climates. You see how Chad is making high over the top throws the likes of which we haven't seen since like 2002?

How do they "win" if they are 1 and done in the playoffs this year and then 4-12 next year? Favre gives us a punchers chance, which is more then Chad, and that's why you make the trade. While he has been bad this last stretch of games I still blame the coaching staff on most of what's wrong with this team, put Favre on Miami and Chad here and the whole league would be talking about Favre right now, there's not a doubt in my mind. To be honest, I only liked the Favre trade cause it rid us of Chad, I never really thought the on field results would be much different. I think in the end, both organizations lose on this trade, but you never know if our next QB is the one we've been looking for.

I remember bringing it up in another thread with you and I'll bring it up here too. The thing that scares me about all of this is Chad Henne. I agree that it would be great if Miami commited to Chad long term because that instantly makes them a limited franchise BUT if they go with Henne (Who apparently they're all very high on in Miami) it's all for nought. I don't know, hopefully it comes back to bite them in the ass and hopefully the ****ing Jets can sort themselves out altogether!

He won't get a first team snap all camp, and if he is forced to see action because the fins stink next year, the team around him hopefully will have checked out. Clemens against Washington was the best QB'ing this team has seen since 2002, maybe 1998. He had constant pressure up the middle and just made play after play. It was only when Chad and Mangini attempted to reign him in that he seemed to get scatterbrained. He looks like garbage now and his career is probably over, but he really never got a good chance imo. I'm hoping for the same thing with Henne... btw, Henne would've won at least 7 games this year imo..

NJ
ESPN is a giant hemmorhoid of a sports network. I cannot stand it. It's the worst out of the 3 in my book too - only reason it's watchable is the comedic value on occasion from Ditka and Jackson (are you retarded?)
