Papageorgio268
And the Jets catering bill has just gone down 500K for the year. In other news, PSL prices have dropped.
Jet Moses
The experiment and philosophy to mimic NE did not work. He was not ready if ever to be a head coach as it turns out. The Bellichik tree bared rotten fruit.

Fishooked
The Bellichik tree bared rotten fruit. Just like Crennel and Weis. Too bad Weis is locked in at ND, he WAS a great offensive coordinator.

Finally, accountability in Jets land. Woody has never had to opportunity to fire a HC. Four in a row had resigned on him or forced his way out (Parcells, Belichick, Groh, and Herm). Bugg
I really hated Edwards, thought he was a zero, overpromoted beyond his ability and experience. Very much thought and still think Mangini is a bright guy and should have been able to succeed. Which is why this was a huge dissappointment, a wasted opportunity. Jetsfan_always
Look, there is no question Mangini was a weak coach, and had utterly failed in his responsibilities. I do wonder now, if he saw that Favre over the past 2 months has really gotten physically out of it - after all, they do practice daily, and could see how well Favre was/was not throwing the ball. This makes me wonder if he started to get even more simplistic/conservative in the offensive play calling to address Favre's Chad-like inability to throw downfield. Hes smaht enough, hes good enough and dog gone it, the players like him. If his play calling on both sides of the ball don't improve dramatically, he'll be coaching at the HS level for the rest of his career. Kotite was also loved by his players, and was the Stump Merrill of the NFL, just completely intellectually overwhelmed by the pace and complexity of the NFL. BF4LC87
What about Shotty & Sutton? When will they be fired? New coaches almost always want to bring in their own staff. He might choose to retain Callahan and Mike W. though.
SouthernJet
What about Shotty & Sutton? When will they be fired? when new coach is hired he will interview them to decide who stays.. BUT, they will be told tehy can leave now if they want...

CTM
Wow. Nice move Woody. I'm shocked, but I instantly feel better about this disaster. It was a good business decision as well as a good football decision. Now go after Cowher or Parcells..
CPH
What about Shotty & Sutton? When will they be fired? I'm not sure they are as bad as many think they are. I believe Mangini put the clamps on them and forced his philosophies on them.
