Thats what Belichick told him.

Mangina wouldnt listen and then stole a laptop and tried to take coaches with him. Hes a Rat and litte Thief.

Mangini just found out what Romeo Crenell, Charlie Weis, Rob Ryan, Ty Law, Deion Branch, Daniel Graham, and countless others found out before him: When you don't have the most powerful man in the NFL owning your team, you find life a lot different when trying to do your job.

I'm ELATED!!!

Happy!

Joyous!

Excited!

Pscyhed!

Thrilled!

Cheerful!

Delighted!

Ecstatic!

Jubilant!

Ovedjoyed!

Did I mention I'm happy?

Finally, accountability in Jets land. Woody has never had to opportunity to fire a HC. Four in a row had resigned on him or forced his way out (Parcells, Belichick, Groh, and Herm).

Yeah, youre right. Mangino really is a great HC and wont be unemployed long.

Hes smaht enough, hes good enough and dog gone it, the players like him.

I really hated Edwards, thought he was a zero, overpromoted beyond his ability and experience.

Very much thought and still think Mangini is a bright guy and should have been able to succeed. Which is why this was a huge dissappointment, a wasted opportunity.

Look, there is no question Mangini was a weak coach, and had utterly failed in his responsibilities.

I do wonder now, if he saw that Favre over the past 2 months has really gotten physically out of it - after all, they do practice daily, and could see how well Favre was/was not throwing the ball.

This makes me wonder if he started to get even more simplistic/conservative in the offensive play calling to address Favre's Chad-like inability to throw downfield.

If his play calling on both sides of the ball don't improve dramatically, he'll be coaching at the HS level for the rest of his career.

Kotite was also loved by his players, and was the Stump Merrill of the NFL, just completely intellectually overwhelmed by the pace and complexity of the NFL.
