GodWearsAGrayHoodie Posted December 29, 2008 Share Posted December 29, 2008 I don't see the two mutually exclusive. The only way to get rid of Mangini was to fire him. And you need to fire him quickly so you can start finding his replacement. Farve may retire. Eliminating the need for the Jets to do anything. The Jets might not want him next year, but might be able to get something in trade for him. Probably not a third after this season but some team might give a 5th or 6th.
