What TJ mitch must remember:

First of all, his examples of teams he refers to as second tier do not have world championship trophies. WE DO! This is something I also have to constantly remind Eagles fans about here in PA. But the hard facts about the Pats are what TJ has to really keep in mind:

#1. Pats cheated throughout their years winning 3 superbowls.

#2. Pats just became the first team in 23 years to go 11-3 and not make playoffs.

#3. Pats went 16-0 last year in regular season and laid a turd-ball eggsalad sandwich in the superbowl.

Hey TJ Mitch, if you don't get it yet - go back to #1 and start over. I'd rather just have our one all-time great CLEAN superbowl VICTORY than three cheaterfest stained trophies like the Pats have.

This post was aimed directly toward the Pat's fan that I thought TJ mitch was. Now that I know he's a Giants fan, I take back all the Pats references and simply say, 'go to hell.' Simply on the basis of bringing up this whole 'second tier' stuff. How many Lombardi trophies do the Dolphins have? Are they a 'first' tier team? The Jets are still the coolest!

I'm looking for an official definition of first and second tier...?

Would that include teams like:

Vikings: 1 championship (in the modern NFL era)

Bears: 1 championship (in the modern NFL era)

Bills: 0 Championships (in the modern NFL era)

Chargers: 0 championships (in the modern NFL era)

Also, I would like to know how many 'tiers' there are...?

3 tiers, four, five?

Honestly if you created a 'tier system' it would need about 5 tiers. In that case, yes you could put the Jets into the Second tier. The lions would have a separate 'basement' tier this year as well, and the Pats would have a 'cheating' tier.

The good aids or the bad aids?

So were guys as disgusted by the number of fins fans at the game as I was?

And I would say it is 3 tiers...the elite teams are teams who consistently win their division....consistently make the playoffs... make it to the SB, and yes, have some SB wins.

Second tier teams make the playoffs once in a while....they may even have gotten to the promised land, but it very very rarely. They can have a good year here and there, but overall are mediocre at best.

3rd tier are the teams that suck 8 out of 10 years...they can break out once in awhile and look OK...but then it is back to the cellar. The Jets are on the cusp of the 3rd tier, but they keep their head just above water and stay second tier. Like this year....after last year you should be happy to be better than .500

His breakdown of what consititutes a first tier team doesn't make sense. Bottom line is the Jets have made the playoffs five times in the last ten years. They have also had 7 winning seasons in the past ten years. His analysis is ridiculous.

How doesnt it make sense? You seem upset?
