NYJ.gifJets Offense-TM-JetsDec. 29 - 5:10 pm et right_corner_player_news.gifpixel.gifpixel.gifpixel.gifThe National Football Post's Michael Lombardi believes that Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer has a "great chance" to be the team's next head coach.

A better idea: bringing in Marty Schottenheimer to run the team with son Brian getting bumped to assistant head coach. Brian's playcalling in New York has been inconsistent and he's only 35. Marty could give the Jets a much-needed kick in the tail and perhaps eventually give way to Brian if all went well.

That would be like firing Pete Carroll to hire Rich Kotite. INSANE. Mike Lombardi needs to be fired, and if anyone associaed with the Jets told him this, they need to be fired too.

So, so you think you can tell

Heaven from Hell,

blue skies from pain.

Can you tell a green field

from a cold steel rail?

A smile from a veil?

Do you think you can tell?

Unless 1/2 Shot can tell a true tale of how Mangini threatened him with castration if he didn't call the bonehead plays he did 80% of the time - I never want to see the guy in Jet green again in any capacity. His playcall was often atrocious.
