So, I have a question and figured maybe someone here would know what is going on.

I am having trouble getting my laptop computer to start up.

Now, the last time I used my laptop was Sunday, I have not been able to start it again until tonight, right before I wrote this post.

It seems as though if I have the computer off and unplugged for more than a few hours, when I plug it back in the battery indicator light is red. It takes a long time for it to turn blue, then it seems a day or so after it turns blue it turns on.

I am trying to troubleshoot the issue, and I hope it is a power supply issue and nothing more, either the battery or the power adapter. How do I figure that out?

I have tried to turn it on without the battery and only the power cord hooked up, no go.

I have turned it on with the power adapter out, and it works intermittently. I also have limited success when I have the battery in and the power cord in at the same time.

I am not sure what I should do next....any advice?

Thanks in advance....

Had similiar problems, it can be anything...

I'd buy a new brick and if it fixes it, you know what your problem is. If it doesn't return it..

thanks....they don't have battery testers or anything like that for the adapter either do they?

the batteries are gone. if happens again take the batteries out, hold the startt button for 30 seconds. put the batteries back and start the computer and recharge it
