vanDoug
I figured the Cubs would make some moves. But this I'm not sure I understand. The guy plays almost any position and was insurance for injuries, etc. For pitching prospects?

NJ
I figured the Cubs would make some moves. But this I'm not sure I understand. The guy plays almost any position and was insurance for injuries, etc. For pitching prospects? Because they brought in the left handed bat Doug (Miles) to play 2B and they're still trying to wrangle Peavy and it's going to take pitching to get him. Thats what they got in return from Cle for Mark D. He was a great guy to have on the club and will be missed. The other bright spot in my book is it will give Fontenot more swings and Fontenot's younger than Mark D by almost 5 years.
