Wildcard weekend- who do you like?

I was thinking thge same but now leaning toward Arizona and Minny -

Rookie QB on the road in Zona and Warner has won big games before and Philly will choke on the road - Baltimore should smoke the fins rookie QB or not Baltimores D will prevail in that one - Indy with the neweest MVP will pull it out in San Diego --

Indy: They are probably the one team that can take down Tennessee or Pittsburgh

Atlanta: I hate Arizona. They performance down the stretch was abysmal

Philly: Philly defense eats up Tavaris Jackson

Miami: They don't turn the ball over. Rookie QB for the Ravens, might be the best game of the bunch this weekend.

Agree with all your picks except for the Ravens/fins game. They will turn it over against a defense like the Ravens. If our dumb defense knew how to catch, we would have had a couple ourselves.

San Diego to beat Indy at home. Could even be a blowout IMO.

Baltimore to beat Miami in a VERY close game. This one could go either way, I think it will come down to which QB will make the least mistakes.

Philidelphia to beat Minnesota. Again a tough game to call, I think McNabb, Westbrook and the Eagles offense will have a big game. Tavaris Jackson is playing VERY well as of late though.

Atlanta to beat Arizona. Can't trust Arizona, too many weaknesses accross the board, I think Turner runs for 120 yards and Matt Ryan will be as cool as always.

Really looking forward to these games.

You do know the Ravens already beat them 27-13 in Miami this year, right?

Pennington vs. the Ravens D? Take the Ravens big.

I don't like anyonebig in that game. You can never go by past results and presume that the same will happen. I thnk it's going to be a close defensive game all the way through. Wouldn't be shocked to see it go to OT.

Pennington vs. a great defense?

The Ravens D might score 21 in this one. Suggs already has a 60+ yard pick six vs. Pennington this year, expect a few more.

You do know that we did play them already and only had one turn over, right? In fact, we only turned the ball over twice in one game once this year and that was in frigid Kansas City.

Even the turnover in the Baltimore game was extremely uncharateristic of Chad. He won't make that throw again.

Are you kidding me? This past game Chad *almost* threw two against a bad JETS defense. The pressure was coming from up the middle, I expect Ravens to do the same. It might be a closer game, but just get it done Ravens!

We'll see.

Chad IMO will be even more careful than normal (if that's even possible). I'd be VERY surprised if there were more than 35 points scored in this game.

My prediction:

Baltimore - 16

Miami - 13

SD: and I think just about every team in the AFC is hoping it goes this way cause nobody matches up with Indy as well as SD, and none of them want to play Indy right now

Atlanta: Simply put one of these teams is incredibly balanced on offense, the other is anything but

Baltimore: I think this one is the hardest one to call but I don't think the Ravens will be affected or caught off guard by the wild hog like other teams, and Pennington can't be counted on against a top tear defense..... then again he's not in a Jets jersey anymore so I could see him going all the way to a SB

Philly: The Vikings can't even sell out their home playoff game, if their own fans who watch them every week don't believe in them, I'm not going to. Plus they got the worst QB in the playoffs behind center and Philly looked pretty ****ing good last week in what was essentially a playoff game against a lot of peoples pre-season SB pick, Dallas.

That's a funny sentiment. Well done, and I pretty much agre with your picks.

Everyone seems to pick the Chargers because they are "on fire" lately. I have several retorts:

1) Antonio Gates AND Tomlinson are listed as questionable. Does anyone really buy that Rivers can win San Diego this game without them?

2) The Chargers are an amazing 3-7 outside of their division. Impressive.

3) Tony Dungy >>>>> Norv Turner.

4) San Diego's "home field advantage" is laughable. Remember when a Herm-led Jets team beat SD in 2004, even when Eric Barton tried to give the game away? Remember when a 14-2 SD team lost at home to NE in the playoffs, costing Marty Schottenheimer his job?

5) The Colts have won 9 straight to SD's 4. I'd say they're "on fire" too.

San Diego's recent success against Indianapolis be damned. The Colts are better-coached, more healthy, and a better team than the last two times they played the Chargers. They will win, and if LT and Gates indeed can't play or are limited, it won't be close.

1) He did, with a little help from Billy Volek, last season. Rivers has been great all season without much help from LT.

2) Yup, they've sucked for most of the season.

3) True, but it hasn't really had too much an impact in the past. Norv is an awful head coach but SD finished strong last year with him, look for the same again this year.

4) Those are completely different teams in completely different situations. Also, they should have won that New England game only for the unluckiest run of bad breaks I've seen.

5) Both teams are in great form. I just really like San Diego for some reason. We'll see how it plays out but I wouldn't rule out either team. It should be a great game.

How has Rivers done without Gates? He may have done pretty well without LT, who hasn't been on his best game anyways all season, but now you're possibly taking away his blanket receiver, Gates? C'mon now, at some point, this will hurt them in the game in a big way.

I think Gates and LT will play. I agree it will be tough without them.
