SeniorFlaJet
The Tavolta's live year round here in Ocala when not making movies. They frequent restaurants and stores in the area and are known as down to earth people. He sometimes premiere's some of his movies in the local theater for local charities. As far as anyone knew the son was a good kid. Such a tragedy.

Jets Babe
I thought I heard something on the radio this morning about his son having Kawasaki's disease. Is that a form of autism Babe ? not at all. kawasaki disease would have nothing to do with jett's behavioral problems by the way. travolta's CLAIM their kid has kawasaki disease, but its bull****....its a disease with physical manifestations that can be treated. obviously, he wasn't treated and he showed no signs of this such disease. scientology does NOT recognize autism and it does NOT recognize treatments for it either. jett travolta had autism and they neglected it. if you neglect a disorder your child has, you are neglecting your child. http://www.celebitchy.com/3860/the_travoltas_ignore_their_sons_autism/ if i'm coming off as very point-blank, i'm sorry. i'm a really big advocate for autism awareness...it's a very sensitive subject for me. Very crude comment. I doubt they neglected their son> These are their beliefs ( although I do not agree with Scientology) I still feel bad for them and i am sure this is a very painful time for them. I am right with you regarding autism. BUT I completely disagree with you as far as neglect is concerned. From what I have read John Travolta had a very loving relationship with his son. The kid also had a caretaker when his parents were working etc. John is an actor, which does involve alot of travel at times. But thats what he does to support his family. As far as scientology is concerned, I dont agree with it being a christian, but we still have the right to freedom of religion and they should never be knocked for religious beliefs even if we dont agree with them. Maxman
Hey lets not make this thread into something it doesn't have to be. If you want to talk about Scientology or anything like that, this is not the place for it. If you know anyone that lost a child, you know how painful it is. Who is to blame is not for us to decide. Garb
too bad the travolta's neglected him and refused to treat his autism because their scientology "religion" was against it. i feel bad for the kid, not them though. How do you know he was autistic? Not that it would shock me, but how do you know? Saw footage of him with with parents coming out of some eatery or premiere or whatever. Both parents were holding his hand. Seemed odd that a 16 year old boy would walk about with his parents on each side of him, holding his hand - so you theory makes sense, I guess. Still very sad though. I couldn't imagine a worse pain for a parent.
Maxman
The loss of a child is the one thing I am pretty sure I could never survive myself. Just terrible, I am not sure how you would go on. Major therapy and medication I guess but it is just unthinkable. May he rest in peace.

I doubt they neglected their son> These are their beliefs ( although I do not agree with Scientology) I still feel bad for them and i am sure this is a very painful time for them. From everything I've read it says they saw their son enter the bathroom on Thursday morning and no one saw him again till late Friday morning when his caretaker discovered him dead in the bathroom. Does that seem a bit odd to anyone else but me ? Where the heck was everybody else during that time?
