Jetheelz
You're doing a good thing, SJ. Sitting at home all the time and not getting out can be depressing, I am sure she appreciates it.

Bergen Jet
I feel you dude. My mother has Alzheimers and my wife and I have to do the same thing. Unfortunately she started showing signs of it in her mid 60s.
war ensemble
That sucks to hear, but it's a good thing to get her out every once in a while. My grandmother has Alzheimer's, so it's tough for the family. (Half in Ireland, a few in America, a few sprinkled elsewhere...)

My mom is so far gone with this horrible disease, I would never be able to get her to sit thru any movie.
Bob
My great-grandmother had Alzheimers. She was in a nursing home and we used to get her out on holidays for family gatherings. I'll never forget one Christmas, when it was time to take her back to the home, she said, "I don't know who the hell you people are, but you're the nicest people I ever met!" I still smile and tear up when I think about that.
