SouthernJet
Is this the greatest flick ever? Hell no. But its a film that every family member can go see together and rebew that tradition of afamily outing. In my case I brought my Mom who suffers from early Alzheimers and even she could follow this cute heartwarming tale. Its Disney of course and the premise is as simple as it gets. We follow a newly married couple who get a dog before a kid and then we follow the growth of them and Marley the dog as kids soon follwo. The plot involves thier careers, the curtailing of said careers due to children and the pressures/joys of parenthood. Its stuff virtually everyone can relate to. Its done in funny charming fashion with Owen Woilson and Jen Anniston perfect as the growing old young couple. Throw in the always great Alan Arkin and its a not be missed family outing. Take the kids, take your Mom and Dad and enjoy the flick and popcorn. 3 's

slowmoe57
I agree with you there that it is easy to figure out. But I was just defending my post earlier this week. I felt that I did not spoil the movie for those who read my post. Few that did anyway

I felt that I did not spoil the movie for those who read my post. Few that did anyway well I go out of my way to NEVER mention anything that will spoil or even make you figure something out too early in movie. A local reviewer in raleigh has a awful habit of saying certain things in his reviews that only 20 minutes into movie u say 'oh i know what gonna happen' I wrote him on the 2 instances and he wrote back sayin 'u r right, my bad', he has been better since.. I only read him AFTER seein movie now cause I dont trust him, and thats what I told him...
