Bleedin Green
Denver officials say tonight they could offer offer spags a package deal of him and his friend eagles GM that way they can be together This was reported on a Denver radio station Makes sense hope its false! They aren't offering him anything tonight. That is unless they want to get penalized for tampering. Besides, what did you expect, every other team was going to make off just because the Jets decided they wanted a guy? The Jets are likely to have competition for whoever they want, that doesn't mean they can't get the guy they want.

Maxman
Does Spags have kids? If so the Jets would be the most attractive location. Since he doesn't have to move\change schools etc. I read that his wife is from Philadelphia as well.
PFSIKH
No one can offer Spagnuolo squat until the Giants are out. Really? Both Crennel and Weis were thought to be passed over due to the Patriots success in 2003 season. Then the bye week rule was implemented. Weis was hired by Notre Dame in December 2004. About 60 days before the Patriots won their 3rd of 4 Superbowls. Crennel was named within two days of the Patriots' win. Crennel's deal was in place and it was just a matter of waiting for the Patriots season to end.

aec4
Wrong. Noone can offer Spagnuolo a contract until he's eliminated. That's 100% right... If they do, they are subject to tampering.

Aec is 100% correct. PLUS, Spags' "friend" from the Eagles can't even be interviewed yet because the Eagles play this week. This is a completely bogus report. Boy, I bet Notre Dame was worried about those NFL penalties!

I would think his familiarity with the Jersey area would make him more inclined to seek employment in Colorado.
