124
Once again Mr.Big Time, "#1 back in the league", "one of the greatest", was hurt and didn't show up. Hey, at least he didn't sit down in a puffy coat this time, give him credit for that.
NY JETS 29
Can't be LT, he gave it a go and if the injury is as bad as Mort reported then he shouldn't of even been on the field. Plus he got into the endzone.

L.S. Dylan
Great back, my ass. Yeah he's good but I'm starting to believe anyone can be good in that system. He had that great year and from what I've seen he has been pretty pedestrian since. Sproles is awesome and Bennett did pretty good too.
Bugg
Great back, my ass. Thnink he cost a whole bunch of FA backs a pile of cash. Whta's the point of overpaying him and guys like him when they don't do it when it counts? Brandon Jacobs, a big, nasty bruiser, is the real deal. Enough of these pretty ponies. Irish Jet
Didn't he have a torn ****ing groin? WTF do you want the guy to do? The fact that he even tried to give it a go is tough IMO. He shouldn't have been playing.

Oh, thats right, the great Mike Shanahan creates all that is man. :rl: Hey, did Mike send out his Thank You cards to John Elway and Terrell Davis for getting him two Super Bowls so he could stay in Denver that long without the fans thinking he's a total asshat? I could give 2 two sh*ts about getting Shanny. Other than Parcells, there isn't a coach out there I'd be thrilled with. LT was GREAT long before the Chargers were winning games. He was getting 2,000+ yards total/year on 4 win teams. He shattered the TD record. He took games over. I don't even know how you can say he isn't that good. The dude had a torn GROIN and was playing football with it. What else do you want? Soft?? What?!? This thread doesn't even make any sense.

Irish Jet
Did anyone even watch him try to ****ing play? He couldn't cut. There would have been NO advantage to keeping him in the game especially with Darren Sproles ready to go. The guy tried, seriously what more do you want from him on a torn groin. Bergen Jet
Yeah he's good but I'm starting to believe anyone can be good in that system. He had that great year and from what I've seen he has been pretty pedestrian since. Sproles is awesome and Bennett did pretty good too. Going into this year he was averaging 2000 yards from scrimage a year for his entire career. He is 2nd all time in rushing TDs, 14th in rushing yards, 4th in rushing yards a game, 4th in total TDs and 11th in yards from scrimmage. He did all that in only 8 seasons. He has never had less 1110 rushing yards (this season) and has only missed one regilar season game while being hurt. He always had double digit rushing TDs an has always had 50 or more receptions (including 100 one year). If you think this man was pretty pedestrian outside of one season you have never seen him play.

jason423
Tomlinson has really rubbed me the wrong way these last two years. Last night was just a bad reminder of what went on with him in the playoffs last season. Either you are hurt and dont suit up or you are better off just sitting it out. I dont deny that he was hurt(he looked pretty lousy running the ball early), but I think he hurts the team by doing this stuff. Abe just had a crummy game. He did have a huge stop near the end that should have gotten his team the ball back, but apparently the Falcons hired Eric Mangini and Bob Sutton to draw up that last defensive gameplan. SMC
John Abraham. Tomlinson has been hurt the last 2 postseasons. Abe was completely healthy and sucked against the Cards.

Irish Jet
To be fair J-Abe made a huge play in the end of that game when Atlants needed the ball back he hit a WR reverse for a huge loss forcing 3rd and long. If Keith Brooking doesn't make a complete mess of the coverage on 3rd and 16 then the Falcons would have gotten the ball back.
Matt39
Funny thing is, is that if LT isnt hurt- the Colts most likely win that game.
Borgoguy
I won't call Tomlinson "soft", but I will say that he is a mush come playoff time. He's never on the field. And, when he is, his impact is negligible. Abraham will always be Abraham: lost.
Jetlag
What the hell kind of insanity is going on in this thread? How is this even close?? Soft? John Abraham is the definition and LT is the one of the five best RB's to play the game. PLEASE STOP SMOKING CRACK!
