BP
Just great..another has been...Did you not see the disrespect the Ravens`had for that dude last year... Any coach that would have their team on hard knocks is a moron. he's in the same league as Herman Edwards.
aec4
Billick > Schottenheimer, ANY Schottenheimer.. even though he wouldn't be my 1st, 2nd or 6th choice.
aec4
No anyone but this offensive genius wannabe who could not get the offense going in Baltimore. I agree, but keep in mind 70% of the salary cap for the Ravens is on D... so he had an inferior unit.

Put a head set on this bad boy and he is > then Billick. I want nothing to do with a guy who is "credited" with being an offensive guru and won his sole SB on D and could never EVER fix his O. Klecko73isGod
Guys, according to multiple sources, Billick and Mike Nolan have been selling themselves as a team. Billick as HC and OC with Nolan as DC. Does anyone remember our defense in 2000, when Nolan was DC and we collapse pretty much as badly as we did this year? No to Billick, no to Nolan. Jetman_67
That's all I have to say on this. Billick would be better than Shotty!!! He hasnt show us anything from being the OC. Far from being ready to run the whole thing. Shottenheimer would be nothing more than Al Groh part2
aec4
Culpepper to Moss made him. very true... but just to be fair, see the entire argument. Doesn't mean Billick is good, but it was hard for anyone to make that team's offense good with Boller or a washed up McNair or Grbac etc.

If he was such a genius, shouldn't he have had an eye for QB talent? Newsome did give him input in drafting decisions.

I think you bring a very valid point that they tilted their cap to the defense, but I am still not a fan of his. I just hope he is not the Jets coach. Here is their rank on O based on PTS and YDS Year Pts Yds 2008: 11th 18th 2007: 24th 22nd 2006: 12th 17th 2005: 25th 24th 2004: 20th 31st 2003: 8th 21st 2002: 23rd 26th 2001: 18th 14th 2000: 14th 16th Mediocre to bad for most the years an offensive guru was at the helm. Ryno the Jet
Harbough needed all of one season and a rookie QB to right the ship in Baltimore. Billick is a moron when it comes to coaching. Of course, his prodigious vocabulary is most sumptuous.
