The Favre "Decision", Billick,Fassell/Favre marraige

Personally, I feel Favre deserves a couple of weeks to make a dcision, he's earned it being the Cal Ripken of football, but not much more,I don't know exactly when, but a time limit must be set bescause his decision dictates the whole team. It starts with Favre because I think he he wants to stay the jets probably annoiny him starter( at least, what? 90%) They may put a leash on him, but he WILL be the starter.

But that dictates where we go with the coaching scene, at least the OC, but the OC must answer to the HC. So if they were to give Favre one more season(and if that "bum shoulder" gets fixed,i'm willing to give Brett an entire offseason with the team and one more shot, with Ratliff up his a$$.

But we won't hire Mike Ditka or Shottenheimer if we have favre, we would want a Mike Martz or a Holmgren Guy, a risk taker offensively, someone that will use what Brett has, and that's a cannon(I would love to put "game smarts", but that dude plays like a rookie, God bless him!)

If it's Ratliff or Aingeor clemens, you wanna go with a TJ, leon O-line power game. Then you might not mind a Ditka or someone like that.

A Billick/Favre relationship might be interesting. Whatta you think?

Same with Fassell/Favre, he freaking took Kerry Collins to the SB, imagine what he could do with Favre?

Jeez are you bipolar/schizo or something?

I can't keep up with your wildly changing emotions in regards to Jets QB's (former or current)

I just think that you see my name and automatically freak out. lol

All I'm saying is if Favre decides he wants to stay I'm 90% sure they will annoint him starter.

So, therefore, his decision sort of dictates the HC decision.

Then I pointed out that a Fassell/Favre or Billick/Favre marraige could possibly be interesting, (if Favre is shoved down our throat which is all on him) .

I really am not sure about the QB situation, it's on Favre, that was the point. If Favre does get the auto-start, I'd like Ratliff waiting in the wings, but that's based on pre-season.

But, if Favre says I'm retiring, that opens up a whole new thinking process for woody and Mike T, could go a million ways.

I think, right now, every sports commentator on the planet is schitzo about the jets QB situation. lol

Have you SEEN a Martz offense? You need quick accurate decision making, or you'll just get killed.

Martz is a little rAdical, can't argue that, I meant an offensive "guru" type, like Fassell and Billick, look what they've done with Trent Dilfer and Kerry Collins, imagine giving them Favre to make something with.

No. He's earned it from the Packers. He hasn't earned it from us. He hasn't earned jack**** as a Jet.

I said he earned it, by being the Cal Ripken of Football"

That may NOT mean jack to us, you could be right, WE need to make decisions. I can see ur point.

Lancemehl is a lunatic.

I swear if you read the posts slowly they really do make sense, they can always be argued, which is what i thought these things were for, but they are always pretty coherent, and I certainly love the jets.

I, mean, I hope. i'm not forcing you to read them, but i'd like to know what i've said that makes me a lunatic, so i can correct that problem in my everyday life, thanks.

Hey man, you are obviously very emotional over this QB thing and it comes out in your posts. You've run hot and cold on Favre and Chad so much lately that it's hard to figure out where you stand as it seems to change daily..

It'll be all right. Chad and Favre share 1 thing in common, neither are the answer...

You are just impossible to follow. And after the whole "I am always right" thread....I have determined that you are nuts.

You do start some interesting threads that are fun to debate, but like I said, I just cant follow your thought process...its all over the place.

OK, maybe I can straighten this out and then we'll just see what happens, this is where i stand, it actually very open minded, but i'm dealing with facts.:

1. I have always like Chad Pennington. i'm glad they're out though, he's a fish now who cares.

2. As far as Favre, if he says he wants to comeback, i believe he will start.FACT.

my opinion: I was admittedly mad over the trade, then fell in love with Favre after the 6 td thing, then the last five games killed me, not to uncommon, right? So:

3. I'm only saying IF Favre comes back, a guy like Fassell or Billick who have won with Kerry Collins and Trent Dilfer may be able to make a nice offense for Favre,if he can play like he did 2 years ago.

I'm just asking questions to scenerios right now.

I said "I'm 95% right" and that was called "tounge in cheek", or "sarcasm" or just plain "havin fun on a jets message board".

I really just pose different thoughts and scenerios, as well as give my opinion at times. I also admit when i was wrong, like Thomas Jones this year, he made me look foolish, but to be told GFY or something? lol come on, I'm no troll, I'm a friggin die hard jets fan til the day i die!
