apopip
I know that there are many opinions on how OT should be 'fixed' but there doesn't seem to be a consensus on what would be best. Does this make any sense?: Determine who will receive the ball first in Overtime by incorporating it with the opening coin-toss. This way, both teams will be well aware of what will happen should the game end in a tie after 4 quarters of play. I think this would keep the integrity of the game (not revert to College rules), and be a 'fairer' way of deciding a game if it has to go to OT. Thoughts? 124
No. Most people think it shouldn't be fixed, actually. I think it needs to be the way it is. You want the ball? Stop the opposing team or win the coin toss.
TNJet
Yes! I too want a good OT in this years draft...

Klecko73isGod
No need for any changes. It's not like you're not allowed to play defense if you lose the toss in OT.
DoubleDown
I would support a change, but going the college route is not the answer. How about this? First team to score 6 points wins.
Irish Jet
I like the idea of giving both teams a chance at a possession but the college system where they basically start in FG range is a ****ing joke.
GodWearsAGrayHoodie
Given how often the game is decided on a coin toss, I think it needs to be changed. My suggestion is the team is that receives the ball can not kick a FG on its first possession.
