Let not blast Woody and Tanny for the Cowher thing.

I must first disclose that I thought that the best COACHING chioce is Cowher.

I just dont think the GM/Coach thing is the correct role model for success. While you have had some sucess with it, if your name aint Parcells I would not give that power to an unproven GM. While some may question the Golston pick. Tanny has made excellent trades and draft so far resulting in 7 pro-bowlers. I think he shound have renegotiated Brett's Contract once he traded for him making it a 1 yr contract with an option for a second. With the second year at a low salary with alot of incentives.

Cowher wanted all the power like our team is a complete mess like the Lions who promoted an assistant GM rather than give the whole "grocery to a coach" As much as I love him as a coaching prospect he has no experience with the duties of a GM.

What we need is a coach first and formost. I am glad that Woody and Tanny are not acting like the desparate chicks jumping after first prick they see. but they are doing thier due dillegence. Lets be patient. Let Tanny pick and be envolved in the entire staff including the coordinators.
