Klecko73isGod
Well, maybe if Bill had done a little better than go 1-4 against playoff teams this year, he'd be in the playoffs. Sorry Bill, **** off.

You know thats from a parody site right? Here is what Belichick said after the season: With the AFC Championship game two years and having to go out and coach the Pro Bowl, then last year finishing another season in February, those have been two very, very long seasons for our players and for our staff -- not just the coaches, but the entire sports staff, everybody involved. Sperm Edwards
There have been a million funny anti-BB/Pats posts & pictures & captions here over the years. This isn't one of them. Not bad taste or anything like that. Just not funny.

HAMMERMILL
BB's hardly upset. This was probably his best coaching job . 11-5 with a "high school" qb, rb's and the defence desimated by injury's. In hindsight might have been the best thing for the Jets to lose their starting QB in the first game of the season:rolleyes:

Gainzo
Talk about spin. Belipricks a master. Its not spin, its fact. Lets look back over the last 6 seasons for the Pats. Last game of Regular Season / Last game of Pats Season 2003: December 27th / February 1st 2004: January 2nd / February 2nd 2005: January 1st / January 14th 2006: December 31st / January 21st 2007: December 29th / February 3rd 2008: December 28th The Pats have played 110 games in the last 6 years. Has any other team done that?

LOL sure will....when all the other teams that weren't playoff worthy have better draftpicks than you as for next year it won't mean a damn thing, 9 months changes everything you guys pretty much had a great year for nothing (11 wins is great to me) :D

DireJet38
Yeah, making the playoffs ****ing sucks. I hope to god we don't make it next year so Vernon can get to the mall and buy some more LT posters. So . . . are they doing mass brainwashes / electro-shock therapy in New England? You guys are grazing around like mindless sheep.

You guys are grazing around like mindless sheep. Not at all. Everyone I know is looking forward to next season as the Pats lost Brady, Harrison, Maroney, Adalius Thomas and countless others but still posted an 11-5 record. Did you know that the last time the Pats had a worse record than any other team in the AFCE was in 2000?

HAMMERMILL
who's trading two 1's for MC? I'm not looking for that 2 1's. The Matt Schaub deal might be a staring point. Cassel now,Has more Nfl experience then Schaub though. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2808100 Only would pull the trigger If Brady'd Ok of course. Worked out Ok for atlanta:)

Garb
Who knows how this will pan out. I'm just confident that the Patriost will do the best thing for the franchise. I do know that Cassel's agent, David Dunn, is a big league slime-ball. He was suspended from the NFLPA for two years after another agent, Dick Steinberg, sued him for talking some of his own players into signing with him. Not sure how a franchise tag helps an agent - does he get a portion of a contract he does not negotiate?

Garb
oh yea he still gets cut this may be biggest single raise ever in nfl and to think he may get $14m to carry a clipboard..sign me up So true - but he had a taste, you know? Plus, this league has a short memory. If Brady is back - it's bad for him career-wise, but good wallet-wise. Leaving would be good career-wise and wallet-wise. I would hope he has a competitive spirit and his performance on the field this year leads me to beleive he does. I just can't see a man prepare and get his shot - only to go back to a bench. Yes, I know money is a BIG DEAL - but I just can't see being THE MAN - and then going back to being THE UNDERSTUDY - regardless of the money. I'm with yah, I'd hold a clip board and practice with the second string all day for the kind of cake he'd be making. But, I'm not a professional athlete. I just like talking and passing judgement on them.

I've got to believe an agent get's his normal percentage since he was the agent at the original signing, but If Matt was to fire his agent now before being francised would he get the whole 14 mil ???
