Gen X Jet
http://blogs.nypost.com/sports/jets/archives/2009/01/meeks_up_friday.html Meeks up Friday The Jets have received permission to interview Colts defensive coordinator Ron Meeks, according to someone familiar with the Jets coaching search. Meeks will interview in Florham Park on Friday. This will fulfill the team's "Rooney Rule" requirement to interview at least one minority candidate for the head coaching vacancy. Meeks is African-American. Jets owner Woody Johnson interviewed in-house candidate Brian Schottenheimer today. He'll talk with the other candidate from the Jets' coaching staff, Bill Callahan, tomorrow. So, here's the updated interview list: Already interviewed: Brian Schottenheimer, Bill Callahan, Steve Spagnuolo, Jeff Jagodzinski (we think) On deck: Russ Grimm, Ron Meeks, Rex Ryan No interview scheduled yet but some interest: Brian Billick

4HCrew
How insulting that is for Meeks... nothing like talking him up
Sperm Edwards
Gee this isn't too obvious. Meeks coached a 4-3 defense that hasn't been able to stop the run since I don't know when. It's fine when Peyton Manning hangs 30 on the opponent 2 out of every 3 weeks I guess. He can come here if he brings Peyton Manning with him. Oh - and Reggie Wayne. He runs the Tony Dungy Cover Who without Sapp to dominate the middle.
Jared
He can come here if he brings Peyton Manning with him. Oh - and Reggie Wayne. Well if you want him for defense, he should bring Bob Sanders.
