jetscott
I know the meat place but lived here my whole life and never been there.Just moved out of the city this summer so I'm checking out the tourist traps for the first time. Lancaster city is like spanish harlem compared to years ago. Not the simple farm town that outsiders think. I did hear they have great meat there. Have you been there? I have been to the Farm restaurant many times when i have been in the area antique hunting,,, never been to the meat store, just the restauarant,,I am sure tourists are there, but its the best of the amish family style places IMHO,,some of the others are huge factory type restaurants,,this is pretty small, but damn good,,my favorites are the fried chicken, ham loaf, Noodles with brown butter and Pepper Cabbage. Jetlag
Happy Birthday! January 9th is probably the best day of the year. I find it interesting that if you write out our birthday you can also get the year we're born. For example, my bday, 1/9/83 taking away the slashes is 1983. Ok I'm a numbers geek, sue me. Cheers.
