If anyone can honestly tell me that Utah would hold up against any of the top five ranked teams right now is kidding themselves, yes they beat Bama but they we're overrated to begin with.

Utah would get demolished by either Florida or Oklahoma.

That being said, Superman carries his team to a BCS title, Gators by 17.

If the NFL ran the post season like the colleges do last years superbowl would have been between the Colts and Patriots or the Cowboys and Patriots.

You can't say Utah couldn't beat the top five ranked teams anymore than you can say that the Giants couldn't beat any of last years top 5 ranked NFL teams (based on week 17 power rankings)

Sad part is we'll never know because the college football system has a paper champion.

Right, there is really no way to tell, college football has the most ridiculous system ever.

But there is no way Utah is the best team in college football this year, throw them Oklahoma or Florida's schedule and it wouldn't even be an issue.

You don't know that.

Depends, I doubt Utah would have been undefeated had they had Georgia or Florida's schedule. Even going into the year, nobody was expecting them to run the table with what they were given. Though they're definitely good enough to have given the Big 12 a run.

Then again, if there's any non-BCS program out there that would give either conference a legit run, it's Utah. That program deserves to play for a BCS title every year, they've proven it by now.

Saying 'Bama was overrated is ludicrous by the way. They thumped Georgia in Georgia and won in Baton Rouge as well (which carries even more weight after seeing what they did to the Yellow Jackets). Not to mention the fact that they played Florida damn tough. You don't emerge from that conference with only 1 loss without being an elite team.

I'm convinced that USC would beat them all.

I agree. USC's defense would shut down both Florida and Oklahoma. Unfortunately, they played one bad half at Oregon State and it cost them a place in this game.

As for this game I will be rooting for Oklahoma, but I think that Florida will probably win. These Big 12 teams do not know how to play defense. Florida 41 Oklahoma 28.

Either way it would all be resolved with a playoff, saying one team deserves it more than another because of the conference they play in isn't fair to the team or the sport.

I doubt a playoff will happen anytime soon. Until then you have to play the games that are in front of you and leave the rest up to everyone else, now that is ludicrous.

And 1 more yard against Ole Miss and Florida would have never lost a game, eliminating the Utah discussion as being the best out there.

One bad game in the college system can cost a team their entire hopes of playing for the championship.

Which is why I love college football and hate college basketball.

The regular season is college basketball might as well be an 30-40 exhibition to the NCAA Tournament.

If you want to do a playoff then put in no more than 4 to 6 teams and let them have at it.

I was shocked at Utah's speed. Alabama is fast but they looked like a Big Ten team compared Utah.

Maybe it was just one night. Who knows. Bama is still very young and they will be back.

As far as tonight goes. Oklahoma is fast becoming Ohio State's little brother when it comes to losing bowl games. I expect tonight will be no different.

Florida by 20
