Matt39
Case was notorious in Detroit for perhaps indirectly causing a chain reaction of events that led to the Matt Millen era as Detroit's general manager

kelticwizard
sorry i'm 21, who are these guys? I barely remember Stoney Case as a player, I think he was a backup for a few years. What he did in college I don't know. Bobby Douglass was a Bear QB who could run really well, it was like having a running back in there. His passes were frequently inaccurate and squggled through the air. Occasionally he would have an exciting drive where he would escape pressure and run for nice gains. Occasionally he would even throw a nice pass. He was very controversial as many felt his running was so good it could make up for his passing deficiencies. He lasted a couple of years as a starter before the Bears gave up on him. For some reason the Bears of that era were unable to find a QB who could move the team-watching their offense was like watching grass grow. One of their young QB's around the Douglass era, Vince Evans, couldn't move the team either but somehow lasted in the NFL till he was 40 or so. At the age of 35, he seemed to finally "get it". MagicBizkit87
If people like Michael Vick, and Vince Young can lead their teams to the playoffs, then who says Tim Tebow can't do it in the NFL? I am not saying I would want him on the Jets, at least not in the first round anyway. Hell, even Rex Grossman got the Bears to the Super Bowl... lol

Irish Jet
To compare Tim Tebow to Michael Vick is beyond absurd. Vick had speed that was ALWAYS going to translate well into the NFL. He was always going to be a unique QB even though his passing left a lot to be desired. Tebow is a power runner in college. I don't think that will translate well with the pro's. He won't be able to run over guys consistently at the next level and he wont be able to extend plays like he does in college either. Saying that he'll be better than Vince Young is like saying he'll be better than Ken Dorsey.

Vince Young has led the Titans to the playoffs before this year. I know Young sucks, I am just saying that Tim Tebow will be better then Vince Young, and if Young can get a team into the playoffs, so can Tebow.
