It Doesn't Matter Who The Jets Hire As The Next H.C.

I think getting in a competent GM in here is the key. There is no such thing as a cursed franchise. There is just mismanagement.

There's something to be said for the fact that Tuna, despite plenty of things you could hold against him. was able to get this team out of the gutter like he did. Sure, he did some messed up things too, but he was able to get this team competitive and somewhat shed it of its losing mentality. Right now I think it's present from the owner on down.

I figured a new wife would make you a positive person.

Guess not.

LBS,

Don't let my state of disgust for the Jets fool you. I'm a very positive person now, with a great wife, great family and all around, a great life. I used to be a negative SOB outside of sports, but that has changed. My life couldn't be better.

If my favorite football team in the whole wide world sucks for the rest of my life, which it may but I will never stop following them, that would be fine by me if it means that my life continues to be as good as it is now.

One thing we actually agree on.

This notion of a the Jets being "cursed" is the biggest bunch of self-pitying whiny bull**** I've ever heard.

The Jets aren't "cursed". There's no magical spell cast down upon the team by Merlin The Evil Magician. Incompetence breeds incompetence, that's it. Nuff' Said.

Good to hear.

Now divorce those loser Jets and marry yourself a new team. Let the happiness flow in your sports life too... and that means dump the tigers also...:D

Hell at least I was alive, albeit 10 years old, to see them win a WS. Also got to see Ordonez hit his walk off HR against Huston Street in person at the ALCS, a true life experience.

If it wasn't for the Red Wings though, I'd have killed myself off years ago. :D

The Jets just have bad karma..there depressing fans, lack of continuity, an owner making decisions based on the media..there is no fan help at games..come late..leave early and sit there on your hands..I've been to Gillette and actually felt the staduim shaking..that would NEVER happen at a Jets game..never..The aura of the Jets is dark with no hope in sight..I'm sorry jet fans its the truth...At least Red sox fans would always think this is the year when they suffered through that decades drought..Jet fans start the year feeling we have no chance..Bad karma man ..Bad Kama
