The comeback kid, Mickey, who's winning kudos for his riveting performance in The Wrestler, admitted he really did all those body slams, rope dives and backflips himself. Although the pugnacious thesp doubled his 80 minute kick ass workouts with an Israeli cage fighter and ate seven meals a day, a men's fitness mag claimed he was taking steroids to beef up his sculpted and bruised physique. When queried about the use of muscle enhancers, the Globe winner said, "When I'm a wrestler, I behave like a wrestler." Rourke is reportedly armoring up as baddie The Crimson Dynamo to give Robert Downey, Jr. a good beating in the sequel. Correct, he was actually a good boxer too. This is awesome by the way, I'm a huge Rourke fan and it's great to see him back on top and willing to embrace his talent again. One can only hope that he can keep it together and keep headlining. Bottom line is whenever he's on screen, he completely owns anyone else that's in the scene with him, no matter who the actor is.
