SMC
Uhm, don't you want to hire Rex now? I want a 10-7 victory by the Steelers with the 7 points given up by the Ravens being a pick 6 on Flacco.
Green DNA
I hate the Steelers (mainly their towel waving fans), but it would be tough to take another two weeks of coaching rumor articles and threads.
124
What difference does it make if Rex is hired two weeks later? He is only going to change the DC position and that will be one of the Ravens' position coaches on Defense, thats already been stated. The Troll
I agree. **** the Steelers. If we want Ryan, we can wait until after the Super Bowl.
Irish Jet
Meh. I couldn't care less who wins. I'm hoping for a good game. Two teams that I LOVE to watch. Defense all the way!
shawn306
I for one cannot wait for this game. Hard hitting, and probably at times just flat out vicious. A bunch of guys hitting the snot out of each other for the right to play in the Super Bowl. Cannot wait for this. It is gonna be great.

The Gun Of Bavaria
Super Bowl Champion Rex Ryan would make a better headline anyways. His first speech to the players: "Hey you spineless crybabies, listen up,............."

He is only going to change the DC position and that will be one of the Ravens' position coaches on Defense, thats already been stated. That's no lock. He may want to change out a variety of positions, and needs at least a QB coach - being that Mangini took ours with him. I'd guess that he'd be looking to fill that with an OC in waiting should Schottie not work out. It's also no lock that he'll be able to take anyone from Baltimore's staff. The Ravens can refuse to let the Jets talk to any coaches they have under contract. If Pettine is such a hot prospect, I'd think that the Ravens would want to keep him around. Especially if they go all the way to the Super Bowl, as they'll then be in the same position as the Jets - looking to fill a key staff position from an emptying pool of talent. The sooner the better, Go Steelers!

Why all the Steelers hate? Other than some of their fans, I like that franchise. Great tradition, cold weather, smash mouth, brutal defense. Wish we had that here. SoFlaJets
Go Steelers-the chances of a coach being in consecutive Super Bowls being the reason-I want Ryan to be able to start naming his staff and coordinators before all the good ones are gone

IBleedGangGreen12
He is still made by his running game and Defense. Sorry man, I usually agree with 95% of the stuff you say on here, but Big Ben would be a top QB no matter who he was playing with. Look at last year, 32 TDs to 11 INTs and a Passer Rating that was 2nd in the league (104...only behind...well I'm not gonna say the guy's name, but we all hate him). The Steelers had no O-Line to protect him this year and he gets hit a lot b/c of it. But he's big and stands in the pocket anyways and bottom line...he's a winner

Just watch some of the throws he made in that Charger game. Also his leadership is another thing that can't go overlooked. Ben is elite people!
