dbatesman
If true, this is very good news for us. Assuming KC doesn't fire Herm (which is a distinct possibility), it would mean we'd have our pick of Ryan or Spagnuolo. And even if KC fired Herm, we'd still be guaranteed one or the other--unless Al Davis suddenly decides to hire a competent HC. http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/01/15/rams...coaching-hire/ Rams closing in on their head-coaching hire Now that Rams interim coach Jim Haslett has lost his interim tag and the opportunity to become the team
NIGHT STALKER
If Paoli fires Hermy, he like that Iowa coach...don't recall his name though without looking it up and I'm too tired right now.
RutgersJetFan
It would be pretty ironic if Haslett got hired to replace him in Minnesota.

Sperm Edwards
Based on what? You're really that impressed with the vikings defense? The Vikings sack numbers went up after they traded for Jared Allen. Kevin & Pat Williams are next to each other in the middle & are devastating run-stoppers. All of that is obviously due to Frazier's genius.

Green DNA
Didnt rams players make a petition to keep haslett? they must be pissed. If they were 14-2 last year, they would have a right to be pissed. They suck so they should STFU. Half of the players that signed the petition will probably be gone next year anyway. SMC
his deal is that he's not doing well in interviews. Also, according to reports, Spags wants final say on the 53 man roster.

Half of the players that signed the petition will probably be gone next year anyway. That is definately funny. The Rams players went 2-10 with Haslett and they petition to have him back. Hello! Some of your sorry assess won't be on the team next year. The best way for players to either keep a HC from getting fired or retain an interim coach is to win games. Look at Singletary. The Niners played well with him in charge and went 5-4 (2-5 with Nolan). If the players didn't win, then Singletary wouldn't have been retained. dbatesman
Adam Shefter > Anyone on ESPN. I'll wait for Total Access tonight to see what Shefter says. http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/01/16/whos-next-rams-coach-depends-on-who-you-ask/ Who’s next Rams coach? Depends on who you ask At a time like this, information is free-flowing. Some of it is good, some not so much. The information passed along earlier this week was that Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier was the favorite in St. Louis. The information that filled my BlackBerry last night was that Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett was the favorite. All of which probably means that Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo will wind up with the job. However it works, the feeling on Frazier here no longer is as confident as it once was, and it’s an example of how fast things move at this time of year and how fluid information is. Different men have different ideas and different agendas. Just because one thing seems obvious doesn’t mean it is. Frazier still might end up with the Rams’ job. But so might Garrett or Spagnuolo or even Rex Ryan if he passed up the Jets’ opportunity. At a time like this, it’s better to stick with hard information than educated speculation.
