jetfan718
just saw this on the ESPN sports ticker....reports say that Carolina Panthers DE Julius Peppers says he does not intend to sign a long-term deal with team and will explore other options...i'd love for use to grab him but what are the chances?...after all, we are in need of a quality DE!!! http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3839736
BroadwayJ667
probably not a 3-4 outside linebacker, and i doubt he could be a 3-4 DE. besides what did he do in the playoffs. if all he is good for is multi sack games against weak teams, and then disappears in the playoffs (john abraham) who needs em pass
124
Calvin Pace, 6 years $42 million Bryan Thomas, 5 years $25 million Vernon Gholston, 6 years, $40+ million We have enough invested at OLB in the 34. He can't play DE in it.

Boynton Beach Jets
Calvin Pace, 6 years $42 million Bryan Thomas, 5 years $25 million Vernon Gholston, 6 years, $40+ million We have enough invested at OLB in the 34. Spudicus
I think he's big and strong enough to be a DE in the 3-4, he's taller than coleman by 4 inches and only wieghs 10lbs less. Although he favors a finesse move to get by blockers over using power which dosen't fit the job of a DE in the 3-4. He could be an OLB but we have a lot of money invested there already and there would be a learning curve for him. So his skills would go to waste as an end or he'd be switching positions and have a rough start but strong finish to the season.

Sperm Edwards
Peppers at OLB? lol. A 285-lb OLB to pair with our 275-lb OLB on the other side. Brilliant. Then in 2009, Kellen Winslow SENIOR would be able to get open against our OLB'ers. Though he's not quite as big, Peppers is like Mario in that he's a DE whether it's a 3-man front or a 4-man front.
