NIGHT STALKER
Sean Casey has decided to retire and take a spot on the MLB network, WEEI reports. Quite a surprise. Casey ceased being a quality regular years ago, but he probably could have spent at least the next five years serving as a pinch-hitter. He hit .322/.381/.393 in 199 at-bats for the Red Sox last season. Jan. 24 - 10:30 pm et Source: WEEI.com

Morrissey
I'm surprized too.The AL with the DH was tailor made for him. Doesn't really matter, Casey is no longer a starting player, I wouldn't mind having him be the left handed hitter off the bench, but I guess he wasn't interested in that role. The Gun Of Bavaria
Tigers could have used him back as a utility 1B and hitter.

CrazyCarl40
Not only was it not funny, it did not make any sense. If the Sox offered him a contract and he spurned them to join a tv network, fine hardy har har. That didn't happen. Your post was pointless. Get over it.
