How Often Do You TMZ?

For me, about once every 3 to 4 months, I go to tmz.com and spend about half an hour watching the videos.

Each time I am done I swear I will never do it again. It always makes me feel dirty but in 3 or 4 months I am back there again.

Never.

I saw their tv show once and was sickened by the way they annoy celebrities who are just out and about doing their thing.

+1 No joke, I would be a devotee of a show where the celebrities, and their body guards, are legally allowed to kick some a$$ on these pieces of sh*t. Part of what's wrong in our society is that many folks have embraced, and created, an industry around gossip. This all goes away when people stop buying tabloids and watching gossip/celebrity driven TV shows.

I can't believe there's not rules against hording a citizen down a crowded city street. There really should be.

I've seen times where there's cameras around a c-list celeb and one of the paparazzi had the nerve to ask the 'celeb' who she was. I think it was like some reality tv person. Maybe from MTV.

Reality shows and celebrity gossip shows have pretty much ruined network TV. Before, the comedies and dramas shown might or might not have been to your liking, but at least somebody somewhere was trying to be good with these shows. Not always successful, but at least somewhere was a creative spark.

Reality shows are just contrived situations designed to create conflict and encourage the audience to choose sides in that conflict. Hollywood shows consist of superficial "reports", delivered with breathless enthusiasm, of mostly people I don't know and have no idea what they did to make anyone think I want a "report" on them.

Thats why jetsrule128 should be their publicist. He knows every c-lister.

More like Z-listers...

Haha

I always wondered what those reality tv stars do when there fame is up. Do they just go back to the way life was?

I know Survivor Rob from NY. I'm friends with his brother, I've seen Rob around town here and there. Have no idea what he does though.

Are you guys serious? Get a clue... these "celebs" on that show would be nothing without shows like it... How often do you see them hunting down a true top celeb? The people they find are trying to be found and get face time...

Unless I'm mistaken, don't most of these people hire "publicity agents" to get them on TV, including these shows?

The reason people like Katherine Hepburn, Paul Newman and others lived in places like Connecticut is because if you are a star but really want to avoid all this, you really can.

And what exactly is it? Some celebrity baiting site?

What's the point of that?
