Vincepcion
Yes that is classless... but cmon the Pats last year were better than the Giants going into the game. Don't let a sample size of 1 game influence your thought on who is the better team overall. Rodney H is right, but still a douche nontheless

"unlike last years superbowl the best team will win the steelers" is he honestly saying the giants werent the better team? You people seriously need help. Who cares? If the Cards win, that does not eliminate the fact there are several teams that are better. That fact also does not erase that they are champions. Just like the Rams were the better team in 2001. Its so surprising that you wouldn't understand class... That Tyree catch could not have happened over a more deserving defensive back in the NFL. Rodney talks so much sh*t and the football Gods finally gave it back to him. Now he has to watch that catch ever year. One word...KARMA
Garb
Rodney Harrison is awesome. He's the type of player who you love when he's on your team and absolutely hate when he's on someone elses team. I am pretty confident that Rodney will return to play for one more year with the Pats. If not - well, he seems like a pretty good bet to be the next athelete to go the media route. ESPN or the NFLN is in his future for sure.

That fact also does not erase that they are champions. If the Cards win, they're the best team in the league. Period. It doesn't matter what they did weeks ago, or if they had a different opponent, or what would happen if you played the game 5 times. The only game that matters is the last. Every other game in the season is meaningless right now. At this point, it's a one game season and the winner is the best team. Well, unless the refs play as big of a part in the game as they did in the last SB the Steelers were in. If another team was better, why didn't they make it? Cause they didn't win when it mattered. Which automatically disqualifies them from being considered the best team. Because the best team is the only one that wins when it matters. You make excuses about "playing 5 games" and what happened two months ago to make your point. If the games two months meant nothing, then the Lions would have been allowed to be in the playoffs. Again, the best team does not always win. That is they way in all sports. You telling me the 2006 Cardinals that won the World Series was the beast? Hell No, but they were the Champions. Being a Champion is not mutually exclusive with the being the best team.
SMC
Rodney Harrison is the dirtiest player in the NFL and known steroid user who was suspended by the league. Why should anyone be shocked when he says or does something classless? What he said fits squarely into his character. I'd be shocked if he actually showed class. Ask anyone and majority of the people will say the Jets were the best team in the league that year, but if you dig into it they were not! It's what you are remembered for. SB champions. In years to come, When asked who was the best team in 2007 most people will say the Giants! Then someone will say, "wasn't that the year they beat thePatriots who went 18-0?" OH YEAH, IT WAS!!!! Being a Champion is not mutually exclusive with the being the best team. The games two months ago meant something then, they don't mean anything now when it comes to determining who the best team is. Are the Jets a better team than the Cardinals because they beat them in week 4? No, that's ridiculous. The baseball Cardinals were absolutely the best team. Once you get eliminated from the playoffs, you get eliminated from the discussion. I'll ask it again. If someone else was the better team, why aren't they there at the end? Because they weren't the best team! You can't lose in the playoffs and think you're the best team because if you lose there is someone better than you because they outplayed you when it mattered. The team that wins in the SB is always the best team. Why? Because they played better on that day. And that day is all that matters when it comes to the SB because at the end of the year it's the only game that matters. You don't win anything for getting eliminated in the first or second round or not making the playoffs. How can a team be considered the best if they couldn't win when their season was on the line? They can't. That's why the champion is the best team, because they're the only team that could do it again and again and again until they won the final game. Alk
Wouldn't doubt it if it was a shot at the Steelers due to the fact the year we beat them in the AFC Championship that's all they would say is that the better team didn't win.

Jet_Engine1
I like how when on the NFL network as a "guest Analyst", they were talking about the Rex Ryan hiring and if he could get the Jets to the SB, and the normal Panel Buys (Dukes, Eisen, Faulk) were all pretty much impressed with Ryan and thought he would be a good enough Coach to get the Jets to the SB, and Scumbag Harrison says, "Maybe if he signs a ten year deal. I don't see it happening". No analysis, no nothing, just makes a total ******* comment. If any player ever earned a spinal injury....
