Former Falcons running back and current ESPN analyst Jamal Anderson was arrested Saturday night and charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana. He was booked into Fulton County jail and denied bond.

Anderson and another man were arrested at a tavern in the Buckhead section of Atlanta, according to WSB Radio, and both men had cocaine on them. Anderson also had a joint in his pocket. According to the radio station, his first hearing will be on Monday morning, but ESPN.com is reporting that he

Unfortunate. He was a hell of a player up until they ran him into the ground with the 400+ rush year. Also, wasn't he the last pick of the draft??? Pretty sure he was taken quite late.

Anyone know why they were arrested in the first place?? I find it hard to believe they were swinging around the bags of coke in the air and the cops saw em, but I honestly wouldn't put it past em.

You dont know what you're talking about. Buckhead area of ATL is the rich part of Atlanta where all the millioonaires, athletes, entertainers live. It's far from 'ghetto'. Most likely you couldnt afford to walk down a Buckhead block.:rolleyes:
