Jbro22 Posted February 14, 2009 Share Posted February 14, 2009 I stopped at Legends on the way to the beach this morning. CC, Burnett, Joba, Kennedy, Veras, and Bruney were in the same group today. They looked like they were having fun together. Especially Joba and CC. They look like best friends out there. Burnett actually seems like a cool guy, definetly has a sense of humor. I guess I agree with that, Burnett while having great stuff, is an inconsistent pitcher, but when he's on his game, there isn't many pitchers who are better. He's a great pitcher, who's had only a good career. Capable of being a top 15 pitcher. Never has put back to back 175 inning years together in his career. World of talent but has never remotely done enough to be called great. Won 10 of his last 12 decisions last season helping him earn this curious contract.
