Jets cut Barret

Brien was just the scapegoat. The reality is that Doug Brien scored every single offensive point for the Jets that day. That loss is on Chad Pennington and Herman Edwards, period.

Fg kickers that miss kicks to win games are scapegoats, it's THEIR fault, It's always been that way, sorry.

If you can win with a decent range FG and your kicker whiffs......two. Hold on, let me see, here, YES, it's definitely the kicker's fault. It's right in the rulebook.

Thanks Doug.

A decent range field goal?

You do know that at the time, a field goal of that distance had NEVER been made at Heinz Field? And the ****ing imbecile of a head coach kneels the ****ing ball to put him further away!

And if Chad Pennington actually showed up that day, we don't need a field goal. The defense played GREAT. With even mediocre QB play, we'd have been in the AFC Championship game the next week.
