Alk
I'm sure there is at least one of our posters standing in line right now to see the midnight showing. I'm waiting until tomorrow night but I will be seeing it on Friday the 13th. Wouldn't have it any other way. Who else is going to see it? Report back without spoiling the movie. Maxman
I am thinking of taking my son and his friends. They aren't 17 so that is the only reason they would let me go with him. But I was a huge Jason fan back in the day. Definitely thinking of checking this one out. Should be cool.
Alk
I couldn't drag the wife to see it so I'm going with a buddy of mine. Probably bring a little Crown Royal along. I actually thought about bringing my Jason mask that I wore for Halloween but decided I wasn't going to be that guy.
BroadwayJoe12
I'm curious to see how it pans out and if it can equal the remake that Rob Zombie did with Halloween. I'm just not sold on the guy directing; his previous works include directing music videos for Janet Jackson, George Michael and Bone thugs. Now I'm not hatin, because I've always been a bone thugs fan, but I think it takes someone pretty ****ed up to do a slasher film justice. In my honest opinion, Rob Zombie is that ****ed up. Saw the Zombie version last week -- I really liked the way it started out and how the explored Meyers early life. But the ending was so-so. I hear the sequeal for that comes out later this year. Alk
Wow, this movie is getting butchered (nyuck nyuck) by the critics. http://www.metacritic.com/film/titles/fridaythe13th2009 The good news is Bedtime Stories had a worse score and I actually thought it was a real good movie. You may want to reconsider going with the kids, lots of sex and t#ts, it might make you uncomfortable with the kids there, ya know, not being able to rub one out in the back of the theater. But it was cool, kinda showed jason in a little bit of a different light, made him more believable, showed where he lived instead of him just appearing, and he now runs really quick, especially when he attacks, no more stif mummy walking. Oh, and the 3 girls who show t i t, wow, three perfect sets!

JoeC36
The original one was filmed in Blairstown which is the next town over from me. And last month our Boy Scout troop stayed in one of the cabins that was used in the film and Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco.

war ensemble
I didn't like the new direction they took Jason in. I've never been a big fan of the series anyways--how am I supposed to find a guy scary when he's dying at the end of every movie? I think Freddy and Jason are just extreme suicidal failures. Alk
Wow!! I just got back home. Saw the 7:20. Only one word comes to mind. INCREDIBLE!! Totally packed house. 44 oz. Crown and Coke in hand. This is the best Friday The 13th. in recent memory. Bay totally changed all of the rules in this one in a good way. JASON VOORHEES FTW!! Jetheelz
I loved it. Seeing Jason move in so quickly on his victims was great. That is how it's supposed to be!! Going back tomorrow for a 2nd viewing, then I am good on movies until The Watchmen.

Jetheelz
Dude, Transformers 2 looked pretty tight No? It looks good but based on that preview the action in it will be like it was in the first one...too fast to tell what the hell is going on. vinnys025
Dude, Transformers 2 looked pretty tight No? They were all out on my base filming transformers 2 and 3. I watched a little bit of the filming, got to see the bumblebee model which was huge. When megan fox came through my gate, I had some interaction with her and that one kid from eagle eye, he was cool, she wouldn't even look up.....she seemed very stuck up. I think they had a 2011 corvette....not sure though, that was the rumor. They wouldn't even let us see it, and I'm military police, and they were on my base...lol. Oh, and the base was holloman afb in alomogordo, nm, and this was back in september

Alk
What? You're kidding right? Watchmen is gonna own. Not kidding at all. For starters until I heard about the movie I had no clue who they were. Then I saw the trailer and thought they all looked like pretty lame super heroes. I'm pretty sure the guy in front of me was jerking off during the trailer though.
