hoping4ASuperBowl
Brett Favre admits that part of his reason for coming out of retirement last summer was "sticking it to" Packers GM Ted Thompson. Favre believes Thompson wanted him to walk away, so the Packers could begin the Aaron Rodgers era. And he's right. Favre also admits that a strained shoulder and torn biceps muscle kept him from throwing the ball down the field in last five games of the season. "I was miserable that last month," he said. "I altered the way I threw, and it cost me. I just couldn't throw it well enough." http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/peter_king/02/15/favre/index.html?eref=si_writers

It's so awesome that the Jets could play such a big role in Brett Favre's revenge plot. What a sap organization this is...

JETfrmWOMBtoTOMB
So: - Comes out of retirement out of revenge - Plays hurt to the detriment of the team What a selfish prick. We've been saying it all along! That's why I called for a public lynching of all Favre followers/excuse makers a while back. So, we missed the playoffs but that doesn't matter because ******* in wranglers got to extend his iron-man legacy. What a joke. I almost hate him. Hope you made enough money off this whole thing Woody, because this all makes you look like Favre's bitch!
Borgoguy
If the coaches knew Favre was hurt that severely and still let him play in those do or die games, then they are bigger morons than any of us could have believed. No way he should have been the QB if he couldn't make the throws. Clemens or Ratliff should have been running the team at that point. Good news, though: One of these idiot coaches is still our offensive coordinator. Nice job with Favre, Brian. Your incompetence is, seemingly, endless. 124
Brett wanted to play in Minnesota to stick it to Thompson and maybe he will still get his wish come June/July.
