Harris and Rhodes

Recommended Posts

I think the pressure falls right on these guys shoulders. (yeah there's Jenkins' conditioning and Gholston trying to prove he's no bust) BUT

we need to force Harris to watch Ray Lewis tapes 24/7 and Rhodes to watch Ed Reed tapes 24/7 lock them in a chair like "Clockwork Orange"*

*An old,classic movie reference

Harris was hurt from training camp on and never found his form. A healthy Harris will be just fine thank you. He had some kind of groin or sports hernia thing. No first step. He has that back, he is okay.

The injury history is one of the problems with Harris. For what ever reasons some guys just seem to get injured more than others. I fear that Harris may be one of those guys. I'll admit to being surprised at how well Harris played his rookie year (I doubted he could be that effective in his first season), but I remember around draft time that Harris' college injury were a source of concern.

I hope he stays healthy and that he and Scott are a force in the middle for the Jets for years to come, but I'm worried. Scott and Cody Spencer (or whoever) are a whole lot less intimidating than Scott and Harris.

I believe he had a serious knee injury in college. That can happen to anyone in a pileup. But I, like you, have my fingers tightly crossed
