CoachTsurfing
If we pick up Lito and Ivy to add with Scott I could see us really going with a wr, rb, or qb with the first two picks. If we add a de bank on O in the first two rounds.

124
If we sign Ivy and pull off the deal for Lito (supposedly a 4th rounder according to ESPN 950), we are done looking at Defense. We would then turn our attention to filling the holes at RG/RT (depending where they want Woody to be) and WR. We could use a back-up NT, but that can be addressed on the cheap or in the 3rd or possibly Day 2.

I don't think we'll be moving up to get Sanchez, so I would imagine that we'll be focusing on WR or possibly DE with Tyson Jackson if Ryan wants to stud out this defense. I got to think if we go Jackson then the coaches have given up on Ghoulston. If Sanchez gets past the 9ers at 10 he will fall to us. I saw one mock draft moving us up to 8. I'm torn on sanchez. I know we need a qb, but is he the real deal???

I don't think Jackson has any baring on what our FO thinks of Gholston. It would actually help Gholston; in my mind, Jackson is the epitome of a 5 technique. He would be an instant upgrade over Coleman and eventually Ellis. I'm with ya on sanchez though. I personally think he's the real deal; i love his quick delivery, his ability to throw on the run and his overall moxie. I would personally rather fly with the group we have now and get some offensive weapons to support them.
slats
The Jets created a couple holes by releasing Coles and Baker. Maybe they can resign Bubba Franks to fill Baker's spot, but they really need a WR. They needed one before they dumped Coles, the situation's pretty dire there now. That's gotta be the direction they're looking in the draft.

BroadwayJoe12
Dustin keller more then makes up for baker... In the pass-catching/play-making category he does, but Baker was actually one hell of an in-line blocker. We definitely need to address a blocking TE via FA or the draft this year. KSJets
We probably need 2 TE's, one to replace Baker and another to replace Franks since I'm sure he won't be back.

L.I.MikeBleedsGreen
That would be to good to be true SJ. Speed ,great hands, Tall with keller on the other side. That would be a nitemare for teams to plan against. Pick your posion
BroadwayJoe12
I've been coming around to Nicks, especially since he ran a 4.49, but I'm still skeptical of his deep speed. If he isn't able to gain that consistent downfield separation on NFL CB's, than they will be able to shade inside, cutting off the inside routes, and making him much less effective. He was able to do a lot of damage this year utilizing his YAC ability on those short routes. He has fantastic hands and if able to get deep, he'll be a heck of a receiver. I just can't shake the fact the he reminds me of Cotchery. Another guy that I wouldn't mind keeping an eye on come draft day would be Ramses Barden. Dominated DIII, has incredible size at 6'6" 229 lbs, good hands, leaping ability and ran in a 4.57. Would give us the size we've always needed. (in the later rounds of course)

If he doesn't have the ability to get deep, it's going to be the same story of defenses playing right up on us and cutting off the inside stuff. The thing that I love about DHB, is that due to his sheer speed, teams won't be able to cheat up and in on him.

BroadwayJoe12
stuckey ran a 4.34 several times in school,,had a shiity 40 at combine,,but he is a deep burner.. Stuckey was also battling from a chronic foot injury, that shelved him his rookie season, but I get what you're saying. I'm not basing this off of Nicks' 40 time, because, as I mentioned, I was impressed with it. It's just from what i've seen of him, he mostly did his damage going across the middle and on his YAC ability on the slant routes. I just make this point, and even if you are fast it still applies, if you can't get over the top of the DB's, than they are going to be able to play you inside and cut off all those short routes. I honestly haven't seen enough of Nicks to know if he can or not, so it's just my only question on him, because I love his hands, his intensity and body control. I just personally prefer DHB, becuase I've seen him play a heck of a lot more and I love his size, speed, agility and leaping ability, which is second to none. Doesn't mean he'll be better than Nicks, just that I like his base better.

I'm fairly certain that if our FO selects him, they know full well what they are getting out of him. I would personally like a WR, someone who can roll coverages, but we are in the position to go BPA, which is always nice. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we grabbed Tyson Jackson, or heck a beanie wells if he fell etc. It's nice being able to go BPA and not be handcuffed by glaring needs. Tanny has done an excellent job of giving us flexibility heading into the draft.
stoicsentry
Definitely go O in the draft. Get one of the top WRs. Consider a RB but it really doesn't need to be addressed this year. Pass on QB, with three young unprovens on the roster, why add a fourth? Dustin keller more then makes up for baker... He does in the sense that he's a much better weapon and anyone would prefer him over Baker. But he doesn't in the sense that he cannot block for his life. Keller is great, I'm a big fan but you also need to have a TE or two that can actually block.

For crabtree we'd have to move up to around 5.
