JoeWillie
From robo.world.com Cowboys acquired QB Jon Kitna for an undisclosed draft pick. "We suspect the pick is very low or conditional, but the Lions did well to get anything for him. The move also makes sense for Dallas because the system and terminology is similar to the one Mike Martz used, and he's better than the veteran backups on the open market. Kitna could put up solid numbers if he's forced to play." Probably a decent backup to Romo.

ECURB
How many 4,000 yard seasons did Chad have? Regardless he was a healthy QB younger and with playoff wins under his belt... Kitna was claiming he would retire because of his back and has not won ****...
AdropOFvenom
The whole world knew Kitna would be released... It was more financial with Chad then anything else, nobody was willing to take back the remainder of his contract.
