yisman
Japan won last year. Value at 6/1. Value in Cuba. Maybe also value in Mexico and Canada to complete North American. I'm staying away from betting on DR and the USA.

faba
Go with Japan to repeat -at least they do not have to worry about steroids on their roster.

yisman
50/1 odds and the others with greater odds aren't appealing.
Morrissey
Go with Japan to repeat -at least they do not have to worry about steroids on their roster. All the WBC players got a blood test (they use the same system the Olympics use) so we know for a fact none of these guys are on any steroids, including HGH. uart
Without AROD the DR team is gonna suffer. Best pitching belongs to the USA and Japan. I think Japan will win, but my bet is on USA now.
uart
BTW, who gave DR better odds than Japan? JAPAN WON THE DAMN THING! And they've added Phenom Yu Darvish this year! Easily the favorite to repeat.
yisman
Bodog has the US and DR as co-favorites with Japan a shade behind. Japan was considered a surprise win in 2006 too. USA and DR have the most talented teams. I guess you could say Japan has some really good players who never made MLB.
