32green
Due to several Dell related 'puter crashes...my Itunes library has been moved several times from 'puter to 'puter. Resultantly, my Itunes library is now short several hundred songs that I have on my IPOD and I am afraid to hook it up in case the IPOD syncs with the shorter library and I lose the songs off my IPOD too... Soooo....is there a way to make my 'puter sync with the IPOD instead of the other way around? Hopefully, this makes me sound really stupid and there is a simple answer that any normal 'puter literate person could answer! Thanks

You can download a free program called iDump (tee hee hee) which will then dump all your mp3s off your iPod, and then you can start over again and re-do your library. That's probably if the cleanest way, but not the shortest way.

But it might be worth your while to just re-install iTunes, then reimport what you've dumped back into iTunes, thus creating a library that now totally matches up with what you had on your iPod. I did say it wasn't the fastest way...RMAO
