124
TITANS KEEP HENTRICH Posted by Mike Florio on March 6, 2009, 2:13 p.m. Not long ago, the Titans were heading toward the new league year with both their kicker and their punter poised to become free agents. Eventually, they struck a deal with kicker Rob Bironas, allowing the franchise tag to be used on tight end Bo Scaife. But long-time punter Craig Hentrich was contemplating retirement when he went on the market. A week later, he
The Troll
Good thing we cut him all those years ago, so we could go through a revolving door of ****ty journeyman punters that we still have yet to recover from.
Bugg
Good thing we cut him all those years ago, so we could go through a revolving door of ****ty journeyman punters that we still have yet to recover from. What was strange is he punted and kicked for ND. The Jets only auditioned him as a kicker and never bothered to see if he could punt. Typical Jets! NJ
The guy is as solid as anybody who ever played that position- and was a pass and run threat as well. It was a bad day when he slipped through the cracks.

ECURB
When was this guy with the Jets? I honestly don't remember. Read the article... and do the math... about 16 years ago... It will be Hentrich’s twelfth year with the Oilers/Titans. He previously spent four years in Green Bay, and he was a member of the Super Bowl XXXI-winning team. NJ
When was this guy with the Jets? I honestly don't remember. He was the Jets 8th round pick of the 1993 draft. 200th pick overall. We cut him and he signed with GB. Went to a probowl and superbowl in 5 years with GB then went to the Titans in 1998. Been there since.

It's just amazing to think what we have gone through Punter wise when we had a great one that we drafted and we let him go.
