Bart Scott and Jim Leonhard are not "castoffs." The Ravens will most likely be getting compensatory picks for them next year,
RutgersJetFan
He deserves it, Baltimore sure as sh-t has the cap room coming up and Mason was their MVP last season on offense...playing with one arm no less.
Jbro22
What would his price be?

Yep. If you dont respect what Mason did for that offense last year, you got issues. He was a true warrior out there.. What game was it where he just getting killed and still getting out there to produce? That was a gutsy performance. Flacco wouldnt have had half the success he did if it wasnt for Mason. Mason is one of the most underrated WR's in this league and has been for awhile.

DMaynard
I love Mason. But he is 35 and we would probably have to give up pick(s) for him. I really don't want to trade any more picks. The Jets need to draft and develop more of their own talent. Mr. T has been great with FAs, trades and managing the cap. Now let's see a really brilliant draft with some mid and lower round gems. That, and if they turn Gholston around, and I think we can say we have an elite GM.
The Troll
Mason is still a good receiver, but for how long? I'm not really thrilled about the Jets pursuing Torry Holt. No one older please.
Ghost
I'm not interested in Derrick Mason.
