Best PC Browser

For my Vista PC's, I use IE (which sucks) at work, and Firefox (which is OK) at home.

I've been hearing good things about Safari. Anyone using this on their PC? Good? Bad? Indifferent?

Firefox is the best... Chrome and Safari are good alternatives... I have all 4 on my Vista PC and use Firefox the most.

Yet you use the same f'ing smilie in the "Last Post" thread.

I like firefox. I am really digging the addons, i started using firebug, shows you all the code of the elements of any site, and allows you so see what changes to the code would do to the site without actually messing with it. Say you like something you see on cnn.com, you can inspect the element to see the code, and change it so see how it would affect the page. Very handy for css and web design newbs.

Safari is the worst browser I have ever used. The way it renders some pages makes NO sense. I'm currently using Firefox on both the Mac at work and the Vista PC at home. I'm planning to test drive Chrome.

  • 2 weeks later...

Been test driving Chrome for about a week - much faster than FF or IE and has a lot of other nice features too. Def a keeper. One neg is it doesn't seem to be able to utilize the mouse wheel depress scroll - but it allows spell check on this site and other BB's - very cool.

i just got into some of the addon plugins for firefox. Firebug is awesome, for anyone who messes around with web design or wants to this is great. It allows you to look at all the code for any element on any page and in real time see what changes to that code would do to the page.

Maybe now I will finally understand CSS fully... lol

Thanks for the tip
