We come to this board because on the national stage(ESPN), and even the daily news,post, and local radio all you get are the same talking points with different takes. We have a true greenblooded group who knows everything and anything about the team we love.That's why we come.For info and fun debate. Sometimes you're wrong and sometimes you're right. But when you start rooting for a Young,promising NY Jet to fall on his face so you could say "I was right" then you need to look in the mirror. What's running your life? It's bad enough we are football junkies, now you wanna be a message board genius junkie. ROOT and ROOT hard for your entire team!!!!! Sure, have your favorites, we all do, but to WANT someone to suck so you could claim to be a jet oracle? Think about how retarded that is. I don't care if Ainge punks both QB's and Ratliff sucks. It doesn't hurt my fragile little ego that I got behind the wrong guy. I'm ecstatic we have an NFL QB,which,right now we don't. That being said i agree with Lance, I'm a little tired of the "fans" who just want to be right. Im pulling for Clemens myself, the experience he's had, although brief, I believe will make him the best QB to manage the game and be mistake free. slats Posted March 16, 2009 Share Posted March 16, 2009 I think the vast majority of fans just hope that out of the primordial goo that is Clemens, Ratliff, and Ainge - that somehow an actual NFL QB rises from that. No one wants Ratliff to fall on his face. Some of us want to slap the faces of this insane Ratliff bandwagon, though. The guy's tall and made a couple throws mopping up in the preseason and now all of a sudden he's the resurrection of Broadway Joe... ? You folks need to get a serious grip. I hope he has a chance to compete and win the job if he's truly the best man, but in the meantime you guys need to come back to Earth.
