Gainzo
lol that's powderpuff propaganda probably written by the pats* PR staff It was written by a former player who never played for the Patriots THIS is journalism: Recording devices of any kind are permitted to be in use in the coaches' booth, on the field, or in the locker room during the game." They also say all video for coaching purposes must be shot from locations "enclosed on all sides with a roof overhead." That was re-emphasized in a memo sent Sept. 6 to NFL head coaches and general managers. In it, Ray Anderson, the league's executive vice president of football operations wrote: "Videotaping of any type, including but not limited to taping of an opponent's offensive or defensive signals, is prohibited on the sidelines, in the coaches' booth, in the locker room, or at any other locations accessible to club staff members during the game." So journalism is stating that the Pats taped from a non approved area? Matt Walsh told Arlen Specter and Goodell that he had possession of the tape during the entire game. Give it up. You are coming off as petty and jealous. I would suggest you listen to the rational Jets fans who know taping signals, and cheerleaders, from a non approved area has no affect on the outcome of games. Sperm Edwards
What is the attraction with Foxborough, Mass.? And why does it seem that every offseason, high-profile free agents are drawn to play for Bill Belichick and the Patriots? I'm sorry, but who are these FA's? Two years ago there was Adalius Thomas. This year there's Shaun Springs & Fred Taylor, who aren't high profile anymore. They may be good for this year, but both are ancient in age for their positions. Chris Baker? Lamont Jordan? Tully Banta-Cain (who LEFT the Pats via FA beforehand)? Donte Stallworth for 1 season? Jabar Gaffney? Who else? Rodney Harrison 10 years past his prime? Mike Vrabel like 8 years ago & Rosevelt Colvin like 5 years ago? I would say decidedly few of the high profile FA's available have left their former teams to sign with the Patriots. lol

ECURB
Wait so the rest of the NFL wants to be a team that did not win their 1st Superbowl for almost 40 years... then won a few of them (with the cheating thing hanging over their head) and have not won since being caught for cheating. Not to mention once Brady's knee finishes falling apart they will be back on the 35 year path until they win one again.
PFSIKH
That's not what I was even talking about. The fact is that the Patriot way has brought you nothing but heartache and ridicule for the last 4+ seasons. And in case you haven't been paying attention the team attracting the most big name FA's the last 2 seasons is the NYJ And has the perception of the Jets changed? No. Until the Jets win and win consistently the only thing they are doing is throwing a lot of money at FAs. The Skins do that every year and have gotten nowhere. An article by a guy who played in the NFL from 2000-2006 with 4 teams (Rams 2000, Packers 2001-2002, Redskins 2003-2005 & Bills 2006) has no credibility? Compared to the NFL Rhodes Scholars that are Jets fans? Wait so the rest of the NFL wants to be a team that did not win their 1st Superbowl for almost 40 years... then won a few of them (with the cheating thing hanging over their head) and have not won since being caught for cheating. Not to mention once Brady's knee finishes falling apart they will be back on the 35 year path until they win one again. 36 < 40 and counting. Even when they were a pathetic moribund franchise, they were able to get to more Superbowls then the Jets. The article mentions Belichick eight times, Brady once and even then only to say that he 'endorses' Belichick, whatever that means. I understand your point, but the CEO is Belichick. He sets the tone for the franchise. Players go to be a part of what Belichick has created. Brady is no doubt a major selling point and helps Belichick immensely. A low number for "who would you LEAST like to play for" is the same as a high number for "who would you MOST like to play for" as I read it. Also, technically Parcells isn't a current HC. Looking now, I think you're right. Votes for these 5 guys add up to 49% of the total results. As in the other 51% of the vote is divided among some 28 other HC's. So mathematically this can't be the bottom 5 of the list. My bad.

Aten
If a person makes both lists, I think it renders the lists as useless fodder for places like....hmmm...JN, for example. No. If a person makes both lists, it's because he and his coaching practices have become sufficiently well-known as to permit players who haven't played for him to form an opinion as to whether they'd like to, and there is a difference of opinion among such players. Making Pats fans actually look dumber is no mean feat, and I don't think it's fair to refer to anything that accomplishes that end as useless fodder.
