afosomf
They are drawn to the Patriots but the Pats can't afford them. This sums it up: The Patriots are indeed the ultimate destination for NFL players who want to win championships. OMG you are such a tool BTW did Seau get his ring lol
RutgersJetFan
They are drawn to the Patriots but the Pats can't afford them. That's just a ridiculous statement. Of course they can.

Gainzo
Really? Cause I think the Steelers would be that destination today.. Can you please name the last big free agent the Steelers signed? The Pats and Steelers are the marquee franchises in the NFL but the Pats have owned the AFCE since 2001 (Apart from losing on tiebreakers in 2002 and 2008). The Steelers? They are cheaper than the Pats when it comes to paying their star players. Who has a better chance to win the Super Bowl next year? The Pats or Steelers? The defending champion Steelers over the non-playoff Pats. That was hard.
RutgersJetFan
Um... The defending champion Steelers over the non-playoff Pats. That was hard. Actually Vegas had the Pats at 4/1 and if I recall correctly, the Steelers were at 6/1. At least that's what it was at The Wynn on Sunday. Jets were 40/1. PFSIKH
OMG you are such a tool BTW did Seau get his ring lol No he did not, but that did not stem the FAs from seeking the Patriots out. You all made a big deal of the poll that said players did not want to play for the Patriots yet we again have veterans choosing the Patriots. Not settling for the Patriots like Favre did with the Jets, but choosing them. How long was Fed Taylor a FA? Chris Baker? Moss took a pay cut to come to New England. Adalius Thomas took less money to come to New England. Tedy Bruschi, Jarvis Green and Mike Wright took less money to stay in New England. Anyone want to bet Tully Banta Cain and Leigh Bodden start playing better this year? Come on Assmop I know you like to instigate but at least make sense. Belichick called Seau in November. "I know it is nice in San Diego, we are not in the playoffs and it is cold as balls here, but we need you to play. You available?" The answer was yes. Why would Seau do that? Belichick.
