Well some places legally drunk is only like 1,or 2 beers.I know We all can function on that. Many of us have driven vehicles while only having one ,or two drinks. I know of a person who went out drinking the night before, and some dumb a$$ hit her while she was on the way to work the following morning.Although she wasn`t drunk she failed the breathalyzer, lost her car ,and her license. So don`t immedeatly assume he is at fault

A few of the people on this board know me and see me at the jets games. I have a damn kegerator full of beer that I buy, and everyone laughs because I am the one guy not drinking. I won't have a single drink if I know I have to drive, BP and the guys know this is how I roll, and they have seen the 1 or 2 times when I didn't drive and what kind of drinking I can do. It is just selfish and stupid to take the chance.
Jetfan13
Report: Stallworth's Blood Alcohol Level was .12 Jennifer Lebovich of the Miami Herald is reporting Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte' Stallworth was driving drunk -- blood alcohol tests showed he was over the legal limit -- last weekend when he struck and killed a pedestrian with his Bentley in Miami Beach, a source with knowledge of the investigation told The Miami Herald. Miami Beach police would not confirm Stallworth had a blood alcohol above the legal limit. ''We have not released anything regarding the blood work,'' said Jenny Velazquez, a Miami Beach police spokeswoman. ``We're not confirming anything.'' WSVN-Fox 7 in Miami is reporting Thursday afternoon that Stallworth's blood alcohol level was .12. The legal limit is .08.

Yeah that's with running over someone, a car accident, etc. I was just meaning when getting pulled over for a DUI you don't have to blow, they take your license away for a year if you don't. At least in Florida anyway.

So don`t immedeatly assume he is at fault wow . . . so many things wrong with this post. 1: 1 or 2 beers isn't going to get you a DUI in FL, where the BAC level is .08 - not unless you weigh 100lbs http://www.brad21.org/bac_charts.html. Which Stallworth . . . does not. Not to mention that the numbers on that chart are for immediate impact - every 40 min. or so, you lose about .01 of BAC - so for Stallworth to have blown above a .08, he had to have a minimum of four beers within 40 minutes of the accident. 2. Here's what being at or above .08 BAC means for you: 0.07-0.09 BAC: Slight impairment of balance, speech, vision, reaction time, and hearing. Euphoria. Judgment and self-control are reduced, and caution, reason and memory are impaired, .08 is legally impaired and it is illegal to drive at this level. You will probably believe that you are functioning better than you really are. 0.10-0.125 BAC: Significant impairment of motor coordination and loss of good judgment. Speech may be slurred; balance, vision, reaction time and hearing will be impaired. Euphoria. Nobody should be behind the wheel of a car if their balance, vision, reaction time, judgment, self control and caution are impaired. This isn't really debatable. 3. Not sure if you know this, but the breathalyzer doesn't "smell" alcohol on your breath. It measures the alcohol content in your breath, which means that "having some drinks the night before" won't cause you to blow a .08 unless "some drinks" means 6 or 7 and "the night before" means "I was up until 5 partying and am trying to go to work at 7am". So unless that's what you mean, your friend was lying to you about why she blew the test.

joebabyny
If you don't drink you'll get the same result every time. When i went up to buffalo this past season for the jets game I got completely harassed by the d$ckbag ny state police. It was 4am, we were just coming back from canada and i pulled over because we were lost. Just as i am starting to get back onto the road from the shoulder(with my blinker on) a statey pulls up behind me and pulls me over. The stateys come out, and immediately start giving me crap as they are asking me dick questions while flashing their flashlights all over the inside of my car. They notice the jets dice on my rear view mirror and ask where i am from. Now through all their stupid mind trick questions i am totally fine because i did not have a single drink, but of course the cop says he needs me to get out of the car for the sobriety test. They gang up on me, with one giving me instructions while the other one is asking me the same questions over and over and talking to me like I am some piece of sh$t perp. Now, i am a 32 year old white guy driving a brand new tahoe and speaking to them like a civilized adult so there was no reason for them to be dicks, but they were. Then he started giving me a bulls#it story about the eye test he administered so he was going to have to give me a breathalyzer. 5 EFFING TIMES he made me take it. They just could not believe that i had not had a single drink. They were extremely pissed that they weren't going to get to arrest me. I got back in the car, and in front of the 4 other guys in the car, one of the cops said "well we would really love to arrest some jets fans and ruin their weekend but you are lucky that nothing is registering so we have to let you go." I have never been so pissed off in all of my life. Thank god i did not have a single sip of anything, i am convinced if they could have found even a trace i would have been brought in and messed with. Sperm Edwards
I read it entirely. Friggin' messed up & he's damn lucky he was clean. But then, from what I've heard about Joe, luck has nothing to do with it. Making sure you don't have a single drink if you're going to be driving has nothing to do with luck.
