LoneStarLady
Congratulations! My brother was an Eagle scout back when. Great accomplishment, and the work at the museum sounds awesome!
Alk
If there's anything that's nerdy and cool at the same time, this is it. Congrats! Agreed. Back in the day it was way cool to become an Eagle Scout. But things have changed so much including the POS kids who think this kind of thing is stupid. Still an incredible achievement in my book for what that's worth.

Very nice. I greatly appreciate all the work that you and other eagle scouts have done. Being an outdoorsy person I've come across quite a few eagle scout projects that have helped me enjoy nature more. A kayak launch along the Hudson and improved hiking trails are just a few examples. Otter
Are you talking about the one near Peekskill? No. The one I referred to is at Norrie State Park in Staatsburg, a little north of Hyde Park. It's a nice launch spot. You can paddle out to Esopus Island, look at the mansions, or get out to the Esopus Meadows Lighthouse. All within a reasonable distance.
